Our PowerPoint poster templates have been updated with a range of new designs and features, making it easier to edit while staying aligned with the WSU brand. The updated templates include the new university Lato font (see the font section on this page), high-resolution WSU SOM and WSU logos, as well as guidance on font usage, color (including swatches), legibility, accessibility, and poster size. If you're using older templates, we encourage you to switch to the latest version for the best results.

Lato is an Adobe font (and it is also available on Google fonts), which means it will be available to everyone with Adobe software. It is also web friendly and currently in use on digital platforms within Wayne State University. If you use Adobe Creative Cloud, click here to download the Lato fonts.

If you do not use Adobe software, you can download Lato from Google fonts. Our poster templates use Lato fonts. Please download them, if you have any issues, please contact C&IT, they will be happy to help you install them!

Beginning Jan. 1, 2023, Stone fonts are no longer be supported by Adobe products, the software used by most creative designers. In response to this change by Adobe, WSU will continue to rely on the current logo system including the school/college/department secondary marks, available as artwork and add Lato family fonts as an option for supporting elements. Lato is a web friendly and currently in use on digital platforms.
